For this installation the colours were extracted from the red petals and green leaves of a rose. With the strong red pigments of the petals and the weaker, yellowish pigments of the leaves, three rounded laboratory glasses were painted. After this, the very same flower was bleached, so it became pale and white.
In the exhibition space a spotlight illuminates the painted glasses. In this way the colours are reflected back to the bleached rose, which appears alive and red again.
In the circle of life, the vital energy doesn't perish, but continues its course eternally.
